I have a KM130R which replaced my old Stihl KM85R. I use it with the strimmer head and the hedgetrimmer head. I'm pretty pleased with it. Loads of power and torque. It's a bit over powered for just zipping round the edge of a lawn, and has bags of power for hedge cutting. In fact I was almost thinking that possibly the KM100R would have been a better engine for me, being a bit lighter and a bit less powerful. Then I had a large overgrown area to cut. And WOW! So glad I had this machine. It just powered through stuff that my old machine would have gotten totally bogged down in. Nothing stops it. I've used Stihl big 2 stroke brushcutters in the past and this is on a par with those much bigger machines. Fuel economy seems really good. I don't think it is using much more than my old KM85.
I'm afraid I haven't used the Honda to be able to give you a comparison.
The blades do stay sharp due to being made like a sandwich with really tough metal in the middle and slightly softer on the outside so that the outside edges wear slightly quicker thus leaving a sharp edge. Really quite clever.
