Stiga flail attachment

Hello, does anyone use or have experience of using the out front flail attachment for the stiga, considering one to put on one of our park pros as an alternative to the ferris hydrowalk we currently use for generic 'wildflower' areas on housing developments, Interested in how it copes with thick vegetation, finish etc??

No experience of Stiga mowers, but aren't you supposed to cut, drop and remove grass and flowers rather than "mowing" them? I was told that mulching will feed the grass and potentially crowd out the wild flowers. I always understood that it's better to use a power scythe.

Thanks Paul, yes on proper wildflower areas we do but these are on generic housing developments covering reasonably large areas put in so certain boxes can be ticked by the developers, the budget only allows it to be cut and left annually

Understood. We have four different widths of scythe for rent; also a Molon powered hayrake. Both powered by the same BCS power unit. Pity we are so far away from you (near Reading)
