No experience of Stiga mowers, but aren't you supposed to cut, drop and remove grass and flowers rather than "mowing" them? I was told that mulching will feed the grass and potentially crowd out the wild flowers. I always understood that it's better to use a power scythe.
Thanks Paul, yes on proper wildflower areas we do but these are on generic housing developments covering reasonably large areas put in so certain boxes can be ticked by the developers, the budget only allows it to be cut and left annually
Understood. We have four different widths of scythe for rent; also a Molon powered hayrake. Both powered by the same BCS power unit. Pity we are so far away from you (near Reading)
