Proabbly worth going to your local dealer for this - They will have it on Rolls (think hundreds and hundred of meters). Most will sell you a length for you to do youself, and most have different grades and qualities available. Having brought online and saved £2-3 only for it to snap at 2pm on a busy day... I'll always buy from a dealer who can tell me what I need.
I'm sure a few of those machines have different coil widths.
Double check as £15 fitted properly to any machine by a mower mechanic will save time & headache in the middle of a busy job in summer !!
Engine size/recoil spool will dictate size of cord, but it is easy to spot if the size if wrong as unsprung the cord on the spool should not 'stick proud of the spool'. Cord eyelet can also indicate the size of cord.
Have a word with your friendly Service Tech, buy him a drink and have him show you the quick way to load a new start cord ;-)
Can be worth having a few spare lengths of varying thickness in the van for those 'broken' moments. If you do a Chain saw course or small engine course, they normally cover this topic.
