Lots ! In relation to H&S, rainfast-ness (ie ability to apply in short window of time) etc, RUP seems to win out and find the Monsanto product quicker to work.
I consider the Clinic Ace product as more of a basic, unbranded Agri based commodity type of Glypho. You can only use 1 application a year. However, ultimately it should do the job (but not near or on water).
Price comparison seems to be @ £27.50 Ace 360 to £39 RUP 360 (both inc Vat

A little hobbyhorse of mine ;-)
Thanks for this, I have noticed the clinic takes a while to work, sometimes 3/4 weeks before you notice the weeds going yellow. Next order will be for RUP I think.
am i right in thinking the only difference is they use different wetting agents i used to work for a spraying contracter and it seemed like everytime we got a glythosate job the product we used had a different name we always added a water conditioner
richard, Thats another thing I thought that the RUP had better watering agents. I will be buying online from now as my agricultural shop charges £40 for clinic and £80 for rup inc vat.
Hi Matt,
Adding an adjuvant oil such as Phase II can help Clinc or any other generic glyphosate work quicker and helps it become rain fast sooner too.
Phase II is a rapeseed adjuvant oil which can be used in a large range of agricultural and horticultural crops. This product will help increase activity of Pesticides or Weed Killers helping them work better and faster. This can be very useful when trying to countrol tough, waxy plants, or when trying to penetrate large, dense foliage.
Phase II is very effective at reducing spray drift when working in sensitive areas. This can help avoid causing unnecessary damage to the Environment and the operator. This adjuvant oil can also be used to help the weed killer adhear to a target weed better, and also improve how quick it is absorbed into the plant. This means you can broaden your spray window if there are showers forecast.
Regards Ollie

That's having a laugh! Rup used to cost more, but should be under £50 from anywhere now. I think they're on the old pricing, probably hoping no-one notices....
At www.agrigem.co.uk Roundup Pro Bio 5L, £39.99 and Pro Biactive 450, £47.25 with free delivery on orders over £250
Richard, yes you are basically right, if you look at the embedded thread in my post above it is clearly one of the main differences and the fact RUP has undergone more approvals I would suggest and thus can be used more effectively.
