Residual herbicide

A few months ago I did my PA1/PA6 course. I have since had domestic work where I have used Roundup ProBiactive 450.  I cut the grass on a large industrial factory and have been asked to spray kerb edges, perimeters of buildings and there is also large gravel beds. I have had a look online and see that Pistol http://www.amenity.co.uk/total-residual-weed-killers/bayer-pistol-herbicide-5l.html  is only to be use on gravel and soft surfaces, so that's out

Being new to this, and not familiar with all products availaible is there another product that can be used.  Or is my only solution to spray with Roundup more often.

    Pistol doesn't work great on gravel as there are too many minor voids that can be omitted and weeds can find their way through.

    For industrial work (hard surfaces) I use glyph roughly every 6 weeks and that keeps the place virtually 100% weed-free if timing is correct. I wouldn't worry about the pistol for now, glyph works out to be economical and easy.

    Thanks for the replys. I will read up on chikita. Ideally I would like to visit every 6weeks or so, but cannot see the company willing to spend out
