    I take it the hedge is box? I removed a parterre box hedging last year using a border spade and mattock. The roots shouldn't be that deep. It's important that you clean your tools afterwards on their property before using them elsewhere so as to reduce cross contamination. Also the box hedging should either be put on a bonfire on site or put in bags and disposed of properly.

      Thanks we have a skip coming and yeah jeyes fluid will be essential, I'm hoping they will be small roots
