    There is a LARGE amount of discussions on this topic on LJN - try a search in the search box on the top right of the home page, for the keywords such as 'hourly rate' or 'fixed price quote' where it says 'Search Landscape Juice Network'

     

    There are very long threads and very short threads on this topic - i think every different angle has been covered at least once....

     

    I'm sure you will find something relevant to what you need to know!
