The perennial 'Monkshood' is deadly poisonous to dogs , also Box, Azalea and Daffodil/Narcissus bulbs.
Most dogs aren't daft enough to touch these but a puppy might, here is a list of what to avoid.
I have quite a few on this list and my dogs don't touch them, trouble is if you only plant non dog friendly varieties you really you limit yourself. I would avoid the worst ones, the dog probably won't even bother with the plants.
