Plant production for this Spring

.

Our main production  is 5-15 litre Shrubs, Bamboo, Herbaceous and Grasses.

The next few weeks will be very busy for us, as we have taken on more lines for production for sales this Summer and Autumn.

This week, we took delivery of over 130 Trees to grow on at our Nursery in 20 litre pots, most of which will be ready from late Summer.

Next week, 400 Phyllostachys 150/200cm arrive for potting to 15 litre.

The week after 1000 Lavandula and 1500 Grasses arrive for 3 litre production.

So busy times ahead, and that's just May & June!!!

Along with our own production on our Nursery, we also have around 2000 plants, changing weekly, on a Cash & Carry basis, or for delivery.

Somerstock will be at the Creating Landscapes trade show in October :-0)
  • Thanks Gaynor,

Time off, yes in time, although we had today off, a little rain last night and today helped.

We moved into our Nursery last July, and our main stock for production arrived last August.

This year, we are ahead of the game, and are starting our production much earlier to make the most of the growing season.

Many thanks for your kind comments regarding the quality of Somerstock plants, we will let the others Growers know.

Steve/Tina...are you getting any rest at all? I can see you are really busy - and that's great! I'm so pleased for you that this is a very successful business.

To all other LNJ'ers...the quality of plants is superb. I'm not just saying that either - I'm very fussy when it comes to plant selection and I just wish I had a T&S plants in South Wales!!
