Many thanks, I was only suggesting chequer plate over the tops of the sides and tailgate protruding down maybe about 50mm on each side. So far no joy with the spray shops as I have only found ones thaT deal in cars and they can't accomodate the height of the tipper with the bed up in the air so they can spray the front of it where it normally sits against the cab. Thanks for the advice though.

Many thanks for the pointer Martin. I read that thread with interest. Although it is more concerned with the inside of vans rather than the exterior I will certainly be using the advice it provides when I next kit out the interior of one of my vans. Many thanks, Charlie

One of the main uses for it is on flatbacks and trailers as it's impact resistant.

My brother is a profesional spray painter and travels if needs be. Do you want me to see if he would do it for you? Atleast then it could be done with an acid etch a zinc primmer and then 2pac paint to what ever colour you wished. his website is www.colorcoatingsltd.co.uk it is spelt the american way to stand out.
Many thanks. I will either try and do it myself or find someone locally but if i have no joy i will be in touch. Thanks for the offer though, greatly appreciated.
Charlie

Hi Martin,
Thanks for the link. I am a bit cnfused though. Would you suggest using this on the outside of the side panels and the tail gate?

I thought you needed it to protect the insides of the bed.
