paint on tarmac

Got a client who wants all the white lines off the tarmac at a nursery. My hire company suggested a blow tourch. Anyone ever came across this kind of work.

I have never used these products but have seen tarmac restored using a similar procedure

  • Thompsons who make the water seal do a coating or top dressing for tarmac.

You would have to burn of the white lines or there would be a ridge visable were they lines are underneth.

You are able to buy thicker coatings however they are expensive compared to Thompsons

    Google tarmac restorer

  • I agree with pro gard burning the lines off is the answer, painting over them will look horrible and wont last long in a commercial environment, espaecially thompsons catings.
  • Beat thing is to use a twin headed burner like pro guard said. When that has been donenyou will still be able to see the lines however if you use the Tarmac Restorer the job will be better. The only thing is you will need to paint the whole area of Tarmac or it will stand out more than the lines did
