* affilate advertising is more effective when a text link in made in an article as opposed to banner advertising - with that knowledge I rarely trust a product review with links as someone is probably getting a kick back
* some magazine type sites have abandoned affilate marketing becasue it does not genertate enough income and have a monthly advertisment flat fee instead - I think that says a lot to those who are thinking of hosting affilates advertising and expecting to get loads of £££ - it would be interesting to hear from those who do reap benefit from affilate marketing
* .....you can set up affilate marketing using 'affilatewindow' (google them) ......or set up your own through an e-commerce site like mal's cart
* be wary - behind every e-commerce solution are 100 people wanting to rip you off and will use your ignorance to their advantage
I'm selling Q Lawns turf, targetting trade and domestic buyers

can't work out if i've misunderstood you or other way around - if you are selling lawns, surely you want to talk to someone else who has a successful business and is already using affiliate advertising to sell their product - i.e you want other people to help you sell your lawns? - if so then Wiggly wigglers have a very sucessful business selling composting and gardening products, and are very social media savvy, rather than wanting to sell you something, you could learn from them.
