            not necessarily! Just plan out well written content and write blogs in your quiet time. Post maybe once a month. Keep it relevant. once a month will make more difference than posting lots rapidly then nothing for a while. 

            You can include links in your blog posts, but it doesn't make a huge difference now. Make sure you have titles and descriptions for your images.

    Looks nice and tidy!
    One thing I would change is the picture of the grass cut to include the house to give it some perspective as the camera angle "I think" is making the stripes look wonky close to camera if that makes sense.
