Hi marcus nice design but, the top pictures are distorted id keep them clear and crisp, place your contact number on the top right hand side so customers dont have to search for it, depending on your SEO system i would recommend an extra page or two, Gallery, more in depth on services etc... include some customer testimonial, and some pics of you doing the jobs.
Other than that look very nice and professional.
There is a spelling mistake on the top navigation (maintanence)
It looks good but I would be thinking about the following:
1. Gutters. A lot of the gutters dont line up properly, its only small details but at the same time its an easy fix and in my experience the little details can make a big difference to the overall look and feel of the site.
2. I agree with the other comments about the photos, they need to be clear and crisp
3. There is a bit of awkward space below the "hire us now picture". Could you not increase the size of the picture vertically so it lines up with the bottom of the list of services. You could also do something similar with the text in the about us section. I think taking these steps would tidy up this section
4. I like the footer. Its got a good focus towards social media

Not being a techy, do like the simple lay-out. Agree with points raised above. It didn't hit me as being a gimmicky site, or a small company trying to look big!
(1)I agree re the space that needs filling and the ‘hire us now’ should either go or link to your details.
(2)The picture above ‘Lawn Maintenance’ should relate to one of a nice lawn and not unrelated formal planting.
(3)The picture above ‘Garden Maintenance’………………..the rake………….a big health and safety issue!!
Finally, are they your pictures? If so you should have no trouble getting work!
Great effort!
my brothers a photographer so they actual belong to him, so no problems there

A couple of points. :)
If you view it on a phone for example in landscape then a you can see first off is the pictures at the top. Could you make them smaller and have some text "above the fold"?
Also a point not just aimed at your site, but I see this all the time and as an ex web developer it grates on me. Your email address is a gmail one when you have a perfectly good domain name. Why not use info@cheltenhamgardenmaintenance.com instead? Your hosting company should provide mail servers for this or you could even forward to your gmail box if you wanted.
Just a thought. :)
Ben
Just a couple of typos to correct. Treatment (not treatement) in the list of services. Maintenance (not maintanence) in the strapline at the top, also in the title General Maintenance under Our Services.
No need for capital 'S' in "Friendly, local and reliable service"
Agree with Colin about the garden rake. I looked at it and first thought was "accident waiting to happen", which isn't really the thought you want attached to your site. I think it would be more satisfactory to marry up Lawn Maintenance with a picture of a lawn above it, too. At the moment, it gives the impression that the pictures are in out of order.
Agree about getting information "above the fold". Having big pictures at the top of the screen is all the rage now, and it's just irritating to have to scroll down all the time.
Agree that photos need to be crisper and about gap below Hire Us Now pic, but I think the views themselves are good and interesting.
Looks good and professional. I'd feel I'd come across someone who did a good job without trying to be flashy.
Cheers guys for the advice I will look into sorting these!
HI Marcus, very nice work! Though maybe its my eyes but the wording is difficult to read, maybe could do with being a bit bolder. I like the layout, can I ask what programs did you use to do it? I need to get a site up soon!
I would also agree with the other comments about the rake!! I know its nit picking but honestly, that doesn't look very safe!! The last thing you want people to do is to question your ability to work safely in their garden, putting yourself and others at risk.
