Hi Ben,
Not bad for first stab.
Just a few little niggles from having a quick glance over.
Use capital letters for the town / cities - you have a mix of upper and lower cases.
The Hard and soft landcaping links go to the same page so why not just have the one clink though?
I would try and get better pictures. The new turfing one isn't a very good advert. some of the rolls have been laid the same way and hence doesn't give the correct dark and light stripe effect.
The picture of the turfing being removed looks like the poor chap is scratching his head and thinking WTF!
Not too keen on the mix of different fonts / boldness etc.
A few issues with the text, for example "All aspect of hard / soft landscaping work undertaken, whether is a brand new..."
Personally, I think a better very brief description should be added for each service,
Example Lawn mowing: Regular or one off lawn mowing using the latest professional equipment including edging up and strimming under trees and other areas. Grass cuttings taken away etc.. You get the picture?
List all lawn treatments offered such as Fertilisation, Aeration and Scarification
Same applies for the hard and soft landscaping services.
Finally, viewed using firefox and no issues seeing all of the text etc.
Sorry for lack of more detail etc but only a very quick 1st review / impressions.
Appreciate the feedback Graeme its good to have a second set of eyes its surprising what we miss =]
the mixture of upper and lower case words is for SEO only non cosmetic, google picks up highlighted words.
Link changed on main page.
you mention listing all the treatments on main or garden maintenance page ?
Brief description will be altered for each.
Pictures are unfortunately what i have been given so far, a request for more has been sent.

Benjamin good effort, lets hope it's appreciated!
It's not easy designing website for other people, I have the tee shirt for that one ;)
Cheers robbie, i agree with you on that point.
Its surprising how many hours go into a website and then all the alterations and changes.

You're a better man than me Benjamin, I wouldn't know where to start re putting together a website. Now, I know you are dealing with what you've been given, but the pictures are pretty poor examples, surely there are better ones available. If not I would re-think the whole set-up.
First of all I would look at making the three image boxes equal in size to each other. These 3 boxes act as the main focal point of the homepage and the fact that they are not of equal size and spacing sticks out and looks a little bit "thrown in "
I would also look at all the gutters and spacing in general. For example the second paragraph of text doesn't line up with anything and again looks as though its been put in as an afterthought. Same for the image gallery too
