new springs

put some new tyres and springs on the other day, fed up with getting stuck around  the routes i take

i put 2.5 ton on it the other day and didnt move more than 40mm

  • Yeah but 2.5 ton is well over your legal limit a cheeky extra half a ton isn't bad but an extra ton wow

      I think it's worse than that payload is only about a ton I think.
      I think they are gvw of 3.5 and they weigh with tipping gear is about 2.5
  • i would only put that amount of weight on if i am moving stuff around on site, would never go over weight when collecting or delivering materials on the main roads, not worth getting pulled over and fined

      I think that's half the problem with these size tippers. They can easily carry more than legal weight. A bulk bag of sand would probably send them over!!
  • Nice tyres, Yeh they're made to take that weight, the 4.6 tonne model only has uprated bump stops and can take a legal payload of 2 tonne.
    Had 4 tonne on mine once, only moving bulk bags on a site, few creaks but took it.lol
