Monet style rose trainers

From time to time customers ask me to produce something different to our existing range, unless I have already considered making something similar or the product myself I am reluctant as the time commitment can be open ended.

One of my garden centre customers asked me about making a Monet style rose trainer  as I had previously been asked by a private customer to make one we found a couple of days in December to make this prototype. It is constructed in solid bar and is in two pieces to make transportation easier. I think it would make a useful addition to our range and help give gardens an interesting framework to train plants over.

I would be interested in your thoughts.

    I have measured it up these are the dimensions

    Diameter at top 925mm, Diameter at base 365mm, Height out of ground 1980mm, installed height about 1800mm (depending on soil type).

    Or in old money 

    Diameter at top 36.5", Diameter at base 14.5", Height out of ground 78", installed height about 71" (depending on soil type).

    All sizes approximate.

    Shown it to the customer, who has ordered 2 as is.

    Will now have to start productionising it.

    Going for a retail price of£250 ex works including VAT in primer.

    Discount available to the trade.
