    What is this Chris ?

It is important to purchase UK sourced Mycorrhizal. We use rootgrow (www.rootgrow.co.uk).

    Kind regards

Explains what it is and how vital it is to most plants.

Also Chris, Mycorrhizal is specific to certain species, you are best advised usually to buy a mix (as per root grow)

Can this product be used when planting young trees also or is it restricted to use on plants and shrubs. I have a large planting job coming up hopefully and soil is very very poor, which has resulted in a lot of the original trees dying prematurely.

  • Thanks still could do with some suppliers
  • Yes Brian, its actually more use with shrubs and young trees, rather than perennials.
Would recommend a thorough soil appraisal first though if the existing trees are doing badly.

  • It is really useful for when soil conditions are poor. And for any plants other than annuals. 95 % of plants have a mycorrhizae association so you cannot be doing anything that will cause harm. But do look at the specification. As stated above look at rootgrow.
