MAPLE Disease

Hi people

This may be one for the arborists.

We have a large Maple in our neighborhood and have noticed that it is covered with a white speckled fungus on the bark. This has spread to our own garden and is prevalent on our Acer and Maple Bonsai which is looking the most dejected out of the 3.

 

Does anyone know what it is and how to treat it?
