magnetic van signs opinions

I saw a couple vans mwb transits one was a Gardener other a builder but both had small magnetic signs on each side but looked asif they changed there trade each week. I have magnetic signs on my truck but there full door size and over the whole rear door .

So do you think magnetic signs can be off putting?
