ps, I see all the feeds and spray etc on homebase / b&q but i was wondering if there's a better alternative cheaper "commercial" feed.
I guess this is a quick run down, there is any amount of fertiliser out there...
A dose of ironwill give you a nice green effect & will some moss too
You could try a Lebanonfertiliser, should last you around 8 weeks or so depending on the weather.
From that you're more into the controlled release fertilisers - Scotts/everris, Andersons
You will pay a little more, but you will get a much longer lifespan 2 - 6 months depending on the product and amount applied.
I use this http://www.sherriffgrasscare.co.uk/products.aspx?pname=Marathon-All...
Expensive if your only buying one for yourself, but excellent product and i have several clients now that ive used it for and they all agree the results are worth paying a bit extra for. Most grass thats not irrigated will be browning off in this weather no matter what its been fed with, however the ones i used the organic stuff on were lusher and greener for longer.
