How do you dispose of old kit ?

We've a growing pile of old kit, way way past it's best and generally broken or past it's reasonable service limit to repair.

We've no desire to spend hours and £££ trying to fix this type of kit. It's written-off so not costing us money and our time

Stihl, Husqy or other?

I'm considering buying a new hedge trimmer as my HS80 is vry tired. But I've been looking around for an equivalent and I must say paying in excess of £500 really does annoy me. I know Stihl & Husqy are vry good but does anyone use anything different?
