Liquid foliar feed

Question about application with a knapsack sprayer.

Should I applying a liquid foliar feed to lawn as directed, as you would apply say a herbicide (exact amount of water and product per hectare) or is better coverage required? Should I be going over a lawn multiple times with a weaker solution to ensure full coverage and so its 'wet' so to speak?

I did my own lawn earlier, for the first time with liquid foliar feed from agrigem, and the grass didn't feel in the slightly bit damp after. Not been a hot or a bright day either. Application was bang on the recommended application rate.

On the mircofine liquid fertilisers we use from Rigby Taylor, there is a wide range of product (20-120L/Ha) vs water (400-1000L/Ha) recommendations, so you have flexibility to go wet on a single pass or multi passes.

We tend to do around 80L/Ha and 500L water single pass on lawns, but you'll get a more even look with a double pass (90 deg) at half dose, similar water (which we would do on say a bowling green).

Wouldn't worry about it not feeling wet afterwards as it will still be taken in via leaf and soil.
