I used some two years ago, it looks awful now: so many bits have broken off it's very patchy.
I'd say the cheap DIY-store ones would be best replaced annually, two years at most.
That was my suspicion, I know its not mega expensive, but I estimate £50-70 approx. for 8 metres of one of them.

There are different grades. I think the one my customer bought was B&Q, I'd imagine Wickes would be similar cheap price, cheap end of the quality spectrum!
One thing, mine was to cover a trellis, not a fence panel, so will have had more wind damage than your's will get.
Worth a look, as it's not a huge amount if you have to replace it after a couple of years.
my brushwood has been crap for years so only about 5yrs and its protected by hedge/ sheltered. was new 8 yrs ago . ive bought some £5 rolls bamboo from a factory shop to replace it so : better but costing me only £10 for split bamboo 1m x 8 totals.
waste of money unless u need it.
