Hello all. Is anyone using the new(ish) chemical Acelepryn to treat leather jackets?
Im wondering if it's worth the investment, it appears to be more expensive than saffron and gold.
If you have used it, how were your results?
I know it won't ever be 100% but hopefully it's better than the nematodes.
How did you price the application per 10 ltr tank? it's currently £900 for 600ml. With 8ml in 10ltrs water
I have 2 large new build housing estates that are infested now to the point that the customers were left with just soil in March when I came back to resume mowing.
I'm fairly sure the 6 months of rain we had in the winter caused some of the die off too, but I found hundreds of the larvae all hiding beneath the plumb slate in the flower border.
I've brought the lawns back to a good quality now, but don't want to loose them over the winter again.

I've never bothered with chemical treatment. Ive just scarified then the birds do it for you.
I've not used it, but a client of ours also has lawn-tech who have used it in their garden, and it appears to have worked. Bear in mind that if it's a bad area, it will get re-infested.
Why would you price it per tank? Price for the area labour plus materials plus mark-up.
