not sure of fertilising capabilities of what Paul?
Sulphate of Iron only contains Fe and has no NPK capabilities....
if you're using iron too often just to gain colour, you could be doing more harm than good...
I'm aware not good idea to use iron to often, I'm wondering what fertiliser you guys use which is considerably cheaper than diy brands
For just feeds, any conventional release feed is cheap....this time of year, need to be very careful in % of N, but plenty of places supply. A 4-2-10 (20gms2 app) or something similar is just about the max aim as we speak, although that can still cause harm.
Plenty of places such as Avoncrop, Sherriff, Progreen etc

A quick search on LJN will provide lots of bedtime reading, a wealth of information and views :-)
Would suggest all is not what it seems......
WHEN ARE YOU THINKING OF APPLYING (FERT PROGRAMS CAN BE A LITTLE OVER COMPLICATED FOR SOME TO DELVE INTO)

Paul
I have sent you a friend request
I can offer you some advice as to what were when
However a their is a lot more to the weeding and feeding lawns than putting stuff on.
Paul I sent you a pm with a local supplier, be careful if you're mixing relay and FE as it can solidify.
Or you could just read my book.....it has, as part of it, a simplified dip into the world of feeding, without getting over complicated..
