Hi guys,I am about to embark on my autumn lawn care programme for my customers.Planning on offering scarification, hollow tine aeration followed by top dressing, over seeding and autumn fert.I'm going to hire a power scarifier and hollow tine power aerator for a week from HSS but I need a spreader for my fert. Can anyone recommend the best one to use, and would you hire or buy it. Also do you guys mix your own top dressing or buy ready mixed?Any suggestions and advice greatly apperciated......god I love this site!!Thanks again,Steven

  • Unlike the spring feed, which is high in nitrogen, the autumn fertilizer should be high in potash. I've used some stuff called 'I want complete Autumn Lawn care', which was probably overpriced by I didn't need much. I hope to do a lot more Autumn care this season so will follow this thread with interest. How much was the scarifier?
