Lawn care Clover and all the rest

I wanted to move into more specialist lawn care soon but a loyal customer has beaten me to iot and asks that i treat clover patches appearing on his gras and to over seed his patchy areas.

Can any body advise on how to treat the clover patches in this instance and for future if there are any uk specific books or resoursecs on how to get into specialist lawn care, I have a local seed and care provider but they dont reallly give out advice much as they supply more to agriculture.

    I meant to put this into turfcare if anyone knows how to change it ill move it there.

    James, there a lots of good books, but before you do any treatments applying presticides or herbicides, then you'll need a PA1/6 - this covers safe and practical uses of pesticides. If you have it, then fine, give progreen or agrigem (both on here) a call for recommended products for clover & this time of year.

    you will need to know what colour the clover is as one will not kill the other
