Lawn alternatives

Hi everyone, hope the summer is being kind for everyone throughout the UK. I've had a nightmare! 4 weeks ago, at home, not at work, accidentally cut my arm very badly, slicing through the muscle and severing the tendons and yes, right arm and yes I'm right handed! Luckily I have nice clients, they understood but obviously lost work and money being self employed, now realise how careful one has to be when your livelihood is on the line. Anyway! Could anyone help, I'm looking for lawn alternatives, ie, sedum sperum, creeping thyme, ajuga bulge weed, living in London, no one sells them or even heard of them, any advice would be great. Cheers. Sy
