  • Looks fantastic Kerry! We started a good sized project(projected 6 weeks ish) first week Nov last year - finally completed end April! Had to walk away in Jan and start again end March the temperature didn't rise above 3c for 4 months! Good luck mate!

  • Me too Craig....

Colin, its a 12 month of the year vocation..... the golden rule of 3 degrees and rising has and will always be adhere to... there will be plenty of composite decking, wood works, drainage, humping and grumping to do whilst the temperatures are below 3 stopping us from any cementitious works......

This project is due for completion mid March 2014, (weather permitting)

I'll take the luck you offer me with both hands..... thank you.....

  • ..........our clients were very understanding - a lovely couple who had complete faith in us without question or pushing for updated completion dates.

Like Colin.... I take your wish of luck in open arms.... Cheers

  • Hello,

This does look an enormous workover. Well done for getting this project of the ground.

May I just give my first impressions on space management...you have chosen a definite italian style for the garden. Looking towards the lounge area, the perspectives look great, but looking from there to the cyprus, I feel that there is a conflict on visual effects. The central cypruss may gain in being a mineral element to balance the raised lounge, and offset the vegetation chosen.

Second point, I wouldn't have put such high trees just in line with the first floor windows and in the passage to the house and outdoor kitchen area. In winter, even if there will be no leaves left, the trunk still divides the view. To create a progressive perspective, and depth, I suggest the medium flowering and scented shrubs be put at this place. This creates rythme in the design.

    Hope my comments help,

Good luck for this winter project.
