Worth having public indemnity, not that expensive. Definitely worth having van key cover has saved me a fortune recently!
We currently have:
Van Insurance (keys included in this) and Public Liability.
There's no requirement for employers liability for us at this stage as only myself and brother (both partners in the business) and not employees.
It's mainly professional indemnity insurance, we don't have it however I am lead to believe that this will cover us should a client claim that we advised them on a design and they decided it wasn't to their taste? Or along those lines, is that right?
Covers legal fees and cost of putting right the works.
I am sure someone on here will know the exact details!
Do you mind me asking who provides your PI?
Calcluth & Sangster in Cardonald
They are brokers so I have 1 x payment a month for all my insurances rather a load of separate ones.
When I have been looking on the insurance sites it asks for our profession but doesn't have landscaper, fence contractor, gardener or anything of that LIKE listed
Have you tried Simplybusiness.co.uk - one of the site's advertisers (scroll to bottom of LJN Home page) ?
There is feedback on here regarding them.....
Suggest you call & check.....
