try bulldog hitchlock, mini lock p6e/2 from barlows trailers
A hitchlock is a great idea, but don't forget a few strong blokes could easily lift a small trailer - always a good idea to have to secured to the ground or a wall in some way!
Mine is hitchlocked to a steel post, which is welded to a 50kg block of steel scrap, covered in concrete and embedded in the driveway. Its also chained to a ground anchor with really high tensile chain and has my name welded into part of it....
i use a yellow ball lock with key - better than nothing and easy to use anywhere . keep it hidden as much as possible.
and be insured. although excess is £500 ?!
I take the wheels off my quad and flail mower trailer if its being left for any length of time.
Same as they do for mobile road signs.
It would take two strong and determined men some long time to stagger off with it.
