I have an old chap working next door to me on a Wednesday who turns up in a Honda Civic, with a pair of boots and some gloves. Everything else he uses is the customer's, and all the cuttings are left for them to take to the tip. Judging from the way he was using a strimmer today he's not experienced.
I'm sure he's cheap, but they paid £1,250,000 cash for the house, as they were downsizing on retirement. Why they need to buy, and maintain, a shed full of tools for him is beyond me!
Perhaps he is a relation?
3 teenagers with power tools? do you boot fayres on wednesdays in belfast?
Everyone has to start somewhere lol............... at least they're not sitting at home on benefits..... mind you, they're probably on benefits as well!!
Ah, Belfast teenagers cutting, or slicing up a grass, some even blowing them away, just like them good old days. :)
now you mention it, i was doing some work for someone and she told me the story about her window cleaner, young lad does his round on foot, some git nicked his ladder from his grandads back garden, but undeterred he went round his customers and did the ground floor with his steps to get some money together to buy another ladder. some people really are worth helping.
Its exactly how i started 25 years ago, it's been on a downwards spiral ever since.
