        1. Yeah I have a dormak pro which I consider to be Honda and its a great mower..heavy but great.
        2. I also have the hrx537 and find its probably the most user friendly and enjoyable mower to work with. However I always have trouble with it discharging big clumps of chewed up grass over the lawn when its not dry and especially if it has a lot of clover or weeds. Most people don't seem to have this problem and iv often considered  buting a new one as they are very well spoken of and often praised as being the best on the market.
        • Gary. Surprised by the issues, don't know if you have seen my tip to Dougie? Anyway use setting 3 on the back wheels permanently and always keep the back wheels one setting higher than the front just alter the cutting height on the front wheels and keep the deck clean! Clover is always an issue regardless of mower

    I love my hrx537

  • I have just received my hrx 537 looks a lot bigger than my older machine  look forward to trying it out

    • Dougie, top tip run the back wheels on setting number 3 and don't alter this adjust the height of cut on the front wheels. We generally use 2 or 1.5 it collects/mulches much better with the back wheels set 1 setting higher than the front. Hope you are as pleased with it as we are with ours.

      • Hi just a update on the machine use it yesterday I thought its a great machine much bigger than my etesia think it take some  time getting use to the size  only gripe with the machine is the height adjustment seem filmsy  when lifting  up or  down but overall great machine  wish  i got one  sooner am actually considering getting the 476 for the smaller lawns

        • Thanks for update Dougie, yes the height adjusters could be better but never had one fail yet! As my previous post we set the back wheels on 3 and this is permanent and adjust the height of cut only on the front wheels using either 1.5 or 2 setting on all rotarys its only the front of the blade that does the cutting

The chute on the 476 is very narrow, something to bear in mind if you are using it primarily for collecting

          • Thanks i did have the back set on 3 and the front on 2 which wasnt taking much off had to lower the back it will mostly be for mulching

  • Thanks for the tip looks like a decent machine think i might need to build a ramp to get it in and out the van

I use and 8ft scaffold board cut in half for a ramp.
