You want a grease gun and a heat tolerant suitable grease cartridge -- works out massively cheaper very quickly
think this was the one : https://landscapejuicenetwork.com/forum/topics/greasing-a-gearbox
and i believe lithium high temp was a suitable alternative :

im sure some can confirm or offer different ideas
Any good quality high temp lithium (which is what the stihl hedge grease is, the other is a high temp graphite grease) will do. I use oregon as i got a box for very cheap. But buying it in either the 5kg tub kinda size and decanting it or by the cartridge will be cheaper.
I went as far as to drill the Stihl screw in caps and add a grease nipple to them, on the long reach hedgecutters. Won't work on the hand held ones however as they would sit on the protruding nipple when placed on the flat.
Cheers guys.
Just to add an option.
The Pellenc product uses a very high performance lithium waterproof grease in the blades for the helion range hedgcutters
this is a 400g tube (large grease gun size) and can be purchased from any pellenc dealer under part number 45677 and retails £10.50 + vat
this should last a very long time in seal type gearbox's and is perfect for open box's when water / moisture can penertrate into the housing
£12.60 seems cheaper compared to stihl big screw in for £18? And small for £9? Now...
Waterproof grease! Thanks I've just spat my drink everywhere 😂
