If I'm honest I would ask the question how benefical is a blade brake to your operation? If it's a must have then Honda. If it isn't then the Hayter 2014 model is a good bet but be aware of the issues and problems with these machines but if you are only doing say a small number of lawns per day (less than 12 as a guide) and have a good dealer that will support you in time of need I would still go for the Hayter every time and I have had my share of issues with Hayter!!
my choice would be for a kaaz i have a lawnflite 19 inch and 21 inch . i used hayters and hondas .
I wouldn't worry about the plastic body. Unless you're really throwing it around it should be fine. The honda engine is fantastic, and unbreakable if you change the oil regularly.
anyone using a Lawnflite-Pro 448KJR roller mower ? these look pretty good aswell esp with kawasaki engine, be interested in any thoughts on these, cheers
did you buy it new , have you had the revs checked on the engine the one i have came to me and was only running at around 1700 rpm i had it upped to 3000 rpm and it cuts well and is a good walking speed
We have one (under Danarm brand) and another on back order. They work fine for us. Perhaps talk to dealer?
You can buy an effective digi tacho to check engine speeds for under £10 on Amazon or fit a dedicated one for around £8
How much are you planing on selling it for?

Speed the engine up, and change the vented blade if fitted.
I'd also change dealer if their attitude was "we don't do try before you buy". You should be their best customer as a pro, and they should be looking at a relationship lasting decades, not one machine!
