after downloading a 56 user manual to get the h.a.v figures ,the 56 has hav of 11 m/s, which according to the hse means you can use it for 1/2 an hour before taking a break etc but the most is 2hrs max per day,no other tool as the hav is cumulative.the hayter 48 on the other hand has a h.a.v of 5 m/s which has a max daily exposure of around 8 hrs,but take a break after 2 1/2 hours
http://www.hse-solutions.co.uk/docs/dlv_vpc.pdf , is a link to a h.a.v table, you an copy for yourself, but i didnt want to add it to this post without permissions.
all makers have a legal requirement as to the dealers to supply you with these figures..........apart from,as i found out, new holland........gits. if you need help finding figures for machines, give me model of machine and ill hunt around.........till i get fed up looking anyway, but i like to "google"
Amazes me that the 56 has such liitle usage time?
Many thanks iain
