Would those 3 not be classed as too close to each other? I thought you could only run multiple businesses if none would ever overlap or interact with each other.
You can not run parallel companies to keep under the VAT threshold.
Its possible but getting a lot harder. Post the question in the Hub and I will gladly expand upon this
I have three - one for lawn care, one for commercial planting and another for domestic maintenance.
They don't all necessarily trade in the same area and certainly have different markets they aim at.
I understand there are exceptions where the businesses operate in TOTALLY different business operation sectors ( I think they use the DTI business codes ), even then HMRC pay very very close attention to ensure you are not passing transactions through either business.
Are you currently registered for VAT ?
