How wide is the path to be?
I think I have an idea as to illustrating how you could mark out the path on site but need to know the width.
We're working on a job currently for this client at the front. At the rear we've a totally empty garden were we want to mark out the main areas of paths, beds, shed, bin store to see whether the concept works in reality.

Clearly someone who is good at using technology to solve a problem !! How was that done ?
We had tried to approach it using a method to set up an elispe using fixed pegs, string and a 'travelling' peg to transcribe the curve onto the ground. Somewhere, somehow it is being done wrong, hence the problem. It's not often we set out shapes that can not be derived within the garden (....thankfully)
Have you joined my SketchUp Group on LJN?
I had visions of the 'travelling peg' method in my mind, but thought the labourious setting out method I've drawn may be a bit more straightforward/understandable.

I think that must be worth a couple of 'drinks' should there ever be a gathering of LJN members.
At least it will stop the cussing & swearing at site tomorrow...
Cheers, Gary
