What did you think of the show yesterday? We had a brilliant day, great atmosphere and we met some really lovely people. The day just flew by, there was so much to see and so many people to speak to. I thought the new venue was much better and the turnout was amazing - the car park was bursting by 9am, the organisers really pulled out all the stops this year and it definitely paid off. Would be really interested to see what others thought of the show and how it compared to previous years for you.
I had a brilliant day too, great show and very well organised and its certainly a date to book in your diary for November 2015
It was the first time I have attended the Furturescaoe show and I was told the previous years show at Kempton was on 2 different levels, it was certainly a great move to Sandown and have all the exhibitors on the same level
Finally had the chance to meet with a few people who I have been in regular contact with via the interweb but not had the chance to meet face to face and lots of people who I have been friends with for a few years
good speaking with Mike and Paula from Aura Landscapes, a great couple and both very funny :)
Finally met with Karl Harrison decking specialist and Steven from London Stone who I have spoken to on the phone and communicated via emails and forums for a few years but never actually met
Gary RK, LJN second in command, and dare I mention any names of APL members above a whisper but it was good to finally meet, all be it briefly, the APL ex vice chairman and now an officer Mr Paul Baker, I was not sure whether to bow or curtsy ;)
It was a long day as I travelled down that same morning so I will certainly be staying over next year, I actually arrived nearly 2 hours early and the hospitality shown by the show organisers especially Jim to organise someone to make me a cup of coffee when they are all still very busy putting the final touches to the show was in my book just phenomenal hospitality and worthy an award of a gold star
