If you remove the rear seats you will.
ive had one for 4 years and they are great, but can be expensive if certain things go wrong. one word of caution though, you cant carry as much weight on them as you think you can!
Agreed Thermo, if you have a 3.5tonne chassis with a body on the back, it looks like it could carry a small country, however.....
To keep the threshold below 3.5t on paper the payloads can be as little as just over a tonne which can soon be taken up with soil or turf!
Steel bodies weigh quite a bit more than an alloy equivalent.
However... I know people who run these and (unofficially - cough) have had nearly TWO tonnes on the back of a Transit Tipper and its done the job perfectly, just done get caught!!
Couple of things to look for;
Dual Mass Flywheel can go and can be expensive to replace - factors will do a Single mass conversion if you do have to replace it though which would probably be less hassle long term.
EGR valve can sound like you have a mouse under the bonnet when turning the engine off, these can be expensive from a Main dealer, also when doing an EGR valve you sometimes have to replace another one which the name escapes me this early on a Monday.
Discs and pads can be pricy again if you use a main dealer, but can be sourced through the trade for sometimes half the price.
Also some people service the vehicle every year but neglect the tipping body and hydraulics so ask the seller when the tipping equipment was last checked.
