500ml bottles of chilled sparkle water...maybe an emergency can of artois for if it gets really hot lol
Food wise depends on where I'm working. But I don't eat a lot when it's this hot.
I take about 4 - 6 litres of water, and I 'eat' a litre of chocolate milkshake :)
Couple of bananas and accept any drinks offered by customers
The temperature has topped 40C here today.
Even sitting inside doing nothing has been an effort. I've had to have a fan on to stay cool.
I remember having to manage high temperatures in the UK in previous years. Our staff often opted to start very bearly so they could finish just after lunch so as not to over stress.
We had a lot of rural sites which enabled us to operate without (mostly) disturbing people.
one word. cordless. lol.
1 litre of water, couple of apples, banana, bags of crisps and as many cups of tea and biscuits as are offered :) On the other hand I quite often don't bother with lunch but just drink.
I always have at least 2 litres of water whatever the weather - more when it's hot. I hardly ever eat when I'm working, unless I know I'm doing a tough clearance or tidy up, in which case I take a couple of bananas and nuts and raisins. I try to stop as little as possible one I get into my stride. If I'm working with the chainsaw I use the maintenance breaks for a breather, drink and a nibble.
yes same here i have snacks in the van so when hunger strikes if the client hasn't already brought out the sausage sandwiches and biscuits I can keep myself going, there is no lunch break as such as it wastes too much working time, sometimes there is fruit in customers garden which I forage while working, if they are ok with it of course
