i give a total price, material price & a labour price, for example if the job is lets say £2400.00p
a detailed description of all the work that is to be carried out from start to finish
total price for all work and materials £2400.00p
£1200.00p to be paid in advance for materials
£1200.00p to be paid on completion of work
also if you have just started up your own landscaping firm, then why would you use 2 subcontractors to carry the work out for you? if they have got thier own set rates then you will need to be charging over the top for any work, then you will be less likely to get the job, but this is just my opinion
Hi Phil,
I won't be giving them all the work, basically I'll be their labourer for the day. I'm a tree surgeon and gardener but haven't done landscaping. If customers ask for landscaping I know people who can do it and I can learn as I go.
cheers
