We have a PRO 51X (with the Honda engine, can't fault it) .
Hello, I am looking at a second hand estesia PKTB self propelled have any of you used one of these? and what they like. I am only doing small/medium gardens at the minute just need a bit of advice really.
Thanks.
the kawasaki engine has beeen stoped because kawasaki dont have any more of them left and are nolonger building them, so yes our new machines are going to be fitted with a differnt engine now unless kawasaki come through with a new engine soon
the differnce between the pro51k & h which justifiys the 500 gap is that the h is single speed and no blade break it is the cut back version of the mower were as the k & B have everything, the pro51x is basicaly the h but all singing etc like the k & b.
It is a cracking little mower and more than idea for the smaller gardens. Be aware that to some people these machines are slow on the auto drive but don't let that put you off - try one out at your local dealer.
Search the forum and also the Etesia group http://www.landscapejuicenetwork.com/group/etesiamowers for more info.

So in your opinion which is the best overall model?

k & b ?
sorry for the late reply guys
the most popular is the kawasaki but all 3 (k / b & x) all come with vairiable speed, so on these 3 thats no problem like with some people finding on the single speed mowers,
it really is down to personal preferance on which engine you get on with more
hi
am no expert when it comes to mowers or in the trade but i inherited a pro51k from my late grandad who worked for the council for 40 years, the pro 51k was his retirment present as it was his fav mower over all the years, and he used a few, and as he put it " you need the best tools to do the best job lad " and i have to agree, it looks a bit old now but it still manages my 400sqm garden with ease and not to much effort.
so i would recomend the 51k without a second thourt
