PRO

I am in the process of sorting out my customer lists and personalizing Christmas cards with logo'ed labels inside and attaching business cards to distribute when the time comes.

Some of my customers I never see, communication being limited to the occasional email or phone call for a special request job, some I have only met once all year.

I was thinking that in order to get some true, honest feedback from customers I would enclose an anonymous short customer survey in with the card (along with a stamped addressed envelope)... Has anyone any opinions or experiences on doing this?

I have drafted one out and it should be attached to this post (if it has worked this time!)

  • I've been planing to do the same - I would really like to gauge peoples perceptions of the quality of service and see what other services they may be interested in - E.G window cleaning / drive / patio pressure washing etc - It would be very useful.

I will type up my notes this week and post them up - Your design is similar to what I envisioned, though I am aiming to keep mine all on one side of A4.

  • Can I suggest that although a very good idea, you keep the Christmas card and the survey separate.

A christmas card should be a thank you for being a client.

A survey is something completely different. - a very good idea, but one will negate the other.

Have you thought of doing a survey via email, - survey monkey or something like that? - they are easy to make and very quick for a customer to fill out, - they also give you ideas for questions, so you don't have to reinvent the wheel
