If your not doing the design adding yourself into the mix is only complicating matters. I for one would not use someone elses measurments etc for a scheme. Getting yourself into a situation where you are relaying what the client wants toa third person is very likely to result in a case of chinese whispers and no one gets exactly what they want.
Why is it you want to do this? Are you planning on doing the landscaping work but just need someone else to do the design? Let the client find their own designer or if you are looking for a cut get someone and agree some sort of finders fee??
I actually work with two fantastic artists and have been doing my design via them for some time, but I was told its not right to put that A D Landscapes do the design. I take my clients instructions, give my designers a brief and a drawing and they come back with the goods.
I am not a big company and can't do everything myself as much as I would like to and I prefer doing the construction work. Maybe I can do just the design work when I am old.
I have worked with other designers and I am starting one with a new designer soon.
