How would a change in daylight saving time impact the horticulture industry?

The UK government has agreed to back a bill to assess the impact of longer daylight hours and I wonder how you'd all feel about the proposed change?

A report in the Telegraph this morning says:

Ministers have agreed to support the measure drawn up by Rebecca Harris, Tory MP for Castle Point, which would see a detailed study being carried out by the Government on the impact of the change.

I've lived in France for over seven years now and I have to say that from my perspective and experience, having an extra hour of daylight not only helps when it comes to completing work tasks but it is also great for rectreation after work.

There is certainly a lift in one's wellbeing.
