Damned Snow!

This time last year we were basking in a mini heat wave, local news tonight reckons that some areas near here may see up to 25cm of snow tonight! Certainly hasn't stopped here since about 4pm.

Planning for the year ahead is difficult enough, or is it just to early?

    Same here in Clackmannanshire.
    I optimistically loaded my mowers into the van last week for the start of the season.

    we've been planting trees today on a housing estate in Rosewell, Midlothian. Snow blizzard conditions since around lunchtime ??????. Mother nature aint in my good books for this week :-(

    Been mowing for 2 weeks now in south staffs, its fine if I start about 10am when the frost has gone. Hope we don't get more snow here...

    I was in Scotland for the LJN Tour last year Kerri when Scotland had the warmest day in March on record. The week after there was 10cm of snow.

    Hi everyone, at least it is not just us up here in NE Scotland feeling the cold....last year was bizarre, really nice Spring almost Summer like weather as you said Phil! .. then 3-4 inches of snow in Easter holidays! Hopefully we get the last blast of winter now and look forward to a good Spring and Summer....ever the optimist.
