  • it had to be the USA........... tragic

  • why was ;cut' engaged? shouldnt have had , unless it caused such damage anyway ???!

shame - deadly machines we deal with everyday. Such care and caution needed at ALL times.

  • there are two things that concern me about this incident, 1 why did the father not see the young child and 2 why was the child allowed to roam around the garden whilst the machine was in operation, although i have pitty on the man and his family he will personally have to deal with what happened but there is no excuse not to take extreme caution whilst using these machines, a simply push mower in the wrong hands can cause devastating injuries. i have long though that ride on mowers and any machine over a certain engine size should only be sold or hire to trade, judging by the size of garden he could of cut the grass with a self propelled mower.

  • Makes a mockery of the Risk Assessment/Health and Safety we have to adhere to, when Jo Public blindly goes about his/her business in blissful ignorance - until a tragedy happens like this. Poor little dear.
