Founded in 2008. The Landscape Juice Network (LJN) is the largest and fastest growing professional landscaping and horticultural association in the United Kingdom.
I am pleased to say that Creating Landscapes is now a standalone UK company and part of the Landscape juice portfolio.
Hale Events have decided to concentrate on their core business thus transferring all of the IPR to me and I have transferred this IPR into the new company.
Marshalls Plc have thrown their weight behind our event and are backing us with a very strong team, every step of the way - in fact, I'm actually writing this from a desk in their office.
First of all, I'd like to thank Chris Harrop for inviting me to the Marshalls' HQ and treating me to such a unique insight into how the organisation ticks: I'll be posting about what I've seen and heard in the next few days).
Marshalls have not only signed up as our headline sponsor they are bringing their whole team to the event - this included Rachel Stonemarket team - where they'll be launching two products into the hard landscaping market which 'will revolutionise and change the way contractors work'.
Craig and Carol have joined me on the publicity team whilst Stephen is maintaining his sales position and I will be assiting Stephen.
Simon Tozer - not yet a member here - is our operations manager.
There is more to add but I'm pressed for time as I'm just off to a quarry and production plant before flying to Southampton later this afternoon.
My aim is to turn Creating Landscapes into the most relevant, industry centric, landscape and horticulture trade show in the UK and with the backing of the companies who've already signed up, I think we are in a very strong position to do so.
The Hale Events directors are delighted with the mix and quality of the exhibitors already committed and the potential of the event, but they have made a strategic decision not to go ahead with this project at this time.
Hale Events wish to focus their energy and resources on their core business, which is in other markets.
Mike Anderson, Director of Hale Events, stated that this was a very difficult decision to take, and Hale Events wish Phil Voice and his team every success with this exciting and unique project.

Wonderful news about Marshalls as a Headline sponsors and I really look forward to working with such a large and prestigious company.
We are very lucky to get Simon Tozer of Catalyst Events on board as the Show’s Operations Manager. I have worked with Simon in the past and he is an outstanding Event Manager.
Thank you to Hale Events for getting the show off to a good start and I wish them all the very best in the future with their own events.
Do keep me posted on companies and products you would like invited and encouraged to exhibit at the Show, as I will be very happy to contact them and attract them in as exhibitors.
